John Neuhoff is a proud member of a large Dallas family and has lived in the city his entire life.
John graduated from Jesuit High School and then attended Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduation from Tulane Law School in 1977, he founded his own law firm.
John’s legal and business career has been interesting and varied. He has practiced civil law in Dallas representing clients in all phases of the litigation process through trial and appeal. He is active in business formation and negotiation.
Looking for additional challenges John became a mediator in 2001. In this important role he worked extensively with attorneys, insurance professionals, and litigants to facilitate settlement of a wide range of civil cases. In 2004, John became Of Counsel to a commercial litigation firm in Dallas. There he supervised associate attorneys while handling a trial docket and maintaining his mediation practice.
Over the years John has been active in real estate joint ventures and developed an attorney land title office. He was a recent candidate for District Judge in Dallas County.
In 2011, John joined longtime friend, Al Rutherford, at Rutherford & Associates and is Of Counsel.
John is married to Christina Beckman Neuhoff and has a stepson, Scott.
John is a director of Saint Joseph’s Residence, a senior assisted living facility in Oak Cliff. He is also an active volunteer at The Bridge Homeless Center and at Jesuit Prep where Scott attends high school.
